Consultation
History and examination form the backbone of the overall assessment. This can include reviewing previous investigations, such as pathology results, scans or ECGs and, if available, accessing your My Health Record. Family members are welcome.
Targeted testing
We have state-of-the-art equipment onsite which allows us to conduct ECG’s, Exercise Testing, Stress Echocardiography, Holter Monitoring, prolonged monitoring with Heart Bug, ambulatory blood pressure assessment, Echocardiography, Pacemaker and Defibrillator testing. Additional investigations such as CT and MRI are available nearby. Angiography is performed in hospital.
Management
This will encompass both the short and long-term. Some therapeutic treatments take months, and preventative approaches require periodic review and occasional adjustment. Providing comprehensive care may also involve referring you to specialist centres in surgery, complex intervention or ablation, when appropriate.

The process of identifying a specific diagnosis involves a thorough, step-by-step approach. We will formulate a differential list through systematic elimination, often supported by targeted pathology and other relevant tests. Your general practitioner will be kept informed throughout and can help clarify any results along the way.
